During June we had a month long celebration of our thirtieth birthday. We were very lucky as for each weekend we enjoyed gloriously sunny weather - the sun shines on the righteous. The month started off with our anniversary dinner and then moved on to a spectacular visit to Nuffield House with the local press in attendance. The next weekend saw a very hot visit to a wondrous steam driven fairground. Much to my regret I had to miss this trip. Finally of course we ended the month with the MSCC Autotest. I would like to thank everyone that organised an event and I hope everyone that attended enjoyed the celebrations. In particular I would like to thank everyone that helped us run the Autotest. Also I would like to thank the organising team that made the event possible. All we can do now is to look forward to the next thirty years!
While we were busy celebrating our birthday we welcomed over fourteen new friends to the Centre. I look forward to meeting you all over the next few months. If I can't make it to a noggin for any reason Terry Tedman has kindly offered to welcome new members on my behalf. Thank you very much Terry.
