During January we welcomed Sandra Stuart, David Smith and Andy Low to the Centre. Sandra and David have a new Silver coloured 4/4 just delivered between the floods. I tried a trip to Malvern in early December only to find Upton Upon Severn was cut off on my chosen route – not even a Landrover could get through I guess. Andy owns a mid 1990s (that sounds like a long time ago now) Connaught Green +4 four seater. Andy does some travelling, since last February he has done ten thousand miles, the Chancellor of the Exchequer and the rest of us should be proud of him.

Please note that we shall be running the MSCC Autotest again this year on 24th June. Please contact Philip Young as soon as possible if you would like to help since we will need a good turn out of Marshals. Everyone had a good time last year so please come along and support us.

Next month we plan to go back to Walbury Hill for all those that missed the walk in December. Please meet at the car park on the crest of Walbury Hill on the Inkpen-Combe road. Please meet at 10:30 am on 29th April. The car park is eight miles from Newbury via the A343 and five miles from Hungerford via Inkpen. The walk is four miles long. Last time we didn’t visit the summit, on this trip I hope we will make it. We found a good pub in Inkpen that specialises in organic food on the walk last time; we plan to go back there after the walk to have some organic lunch. I hope to see you there.
