At our last noggin at the Bird In Hand we had a wet evening resulting in two Centre couples arriving in their Landrover Defenders. They were even parked next to each other in the slots normally occupied by morgans! Now as we enter the season of endless depressions arriving from the West I thought it could fun if we held a special Landrover evening. So on the first Thursday noggin in November I would like all Centre members with a Landrover to come out for a run. I believe in certain cycles this process is known as outing. I have a hunch that many members own Landrovers and I believe we have the potential to fill the car park! Freelanders, Discoverys, Range Rovers and Defenders are all welcome. Naturally morgans will take pride of place as always! Incidentally there is no truth in the rumour that I have bought Lara Croft’s Tomb Raider Defender. However if one had to go off the road with a girl Lara would the one of choice don’t you think! So don’t forget November 4th is Landrover night!
I’m pleased to hear from John Sherwood that there is romance in the air with his son Mark and a young lady from OggieMogLand called Anna. They met over the long MOG 2001 weekend. I hope John you have informed Mark of his responsibilities. I know a good jeweller in Brighton if you should need one soon Mark.
