We have two very important events on in July. On
Sunday 14th July David Smith and Sandra will be running our
Gymkhana in aid of the National Society for Epilepsy. I would like to thank
David and Sandra very much for organising this day. In the evening we
are hoping for some live music to entertain us! If you would like to
come and join in please contact me as soon as possible as time is short.
The second event is a scenic run after our noggin at the Hampden Arms.
The route ends at Estelle and Ian Sollen’s home where they have kindly
invited us back for coffee and danish. Please contact Estelle and Ian if you
would like full details. Thank you Estelle and Ian for running this event.
At MOG 2002 we will be camping as a group next to the river Thames. Please look out for our Centre banner if you would like to join us.
On 14th September I hope to be entering the Brighton Speed Trials. Last year three GT 40 replicas entered. After their runs they returned to the paddock in front of the crowds in a “v” formation and very spectacular it looked too! I know Frank Orton and Pat Hadley will be entering their Morgans this year, one more entry in their class and we could have a Morgan formation as well!
