As the autumn approaches we have the London to
Brighton veteran car run to look forward to. I believe this year there will be
two rival events running causing confusion no doubt. I hope things get back to
normal next year!
On 19th there is a round of the MSCC Sprint series being held at Castle Combe race circuit. This will be a good value event to attend. Please let me know if you are interested in going, I plan to go and support them.
I am now taking bookings for our annual Centre Christmas dinner at the Phoenix pub in Hartley Wintney. The food and beer is excellent at this venue. We all had a great time last year. Space will be limited so I will be taking bookings on a first come first served basis.
Incidentally it was great to see Philip Young in action at Goodwood recently. To achieve perfect balance Phil has mounted two Thames Valley car badges on the front of his Morgan – I believe the handling is improved amazingly. Please talk to Geoff Giles if you would like to do the same! I was very pleased to see our badges out there on the circuit! Well done Phil!
