I would like to thank everyone that attended our Christmas Dinner at the Phoenix. I hope you all had a good time and that you all enjoyed the food. It was a cold night; I trust this didn’t detract from the enjoyment too much. Thank you Bert for providing the live music – Bert Oslar kindly played the ivories once again for us. Play it again Bert. This month we have news of our Annual Centre dinner to be organised by Pam and Mike Aldrich. We also have details of another Thames Valley expedition/walk.

I am very pleased that the Centre will be involved in two important charity events this year: our Gymkhana at the National Society for Epilepsy (NSE) and the Morgans at Brooklands in conjunction with the Sporting Bears. The Gymkhana proceeds go to the NSE and the Morgans at Brooklands proceeds are split between The Rainbow Trust for terminally ill children and The Brooklands Educational Trust. I sincerely hope that these will be annual events for the Centre. These outings are described with contacts below.

Full details of these events are available on our events page as are details of this year's extensive programme of walks.

I am very pleased to be able to announce that we have a date for our Annual Centre Dinner hosted by Pam and Mike Aldrich this too is on our events page.

Web Page News

We now have video clips working on our web page. Quentin Mitchell’s sequence of last year’s NSE Gymkhana is very good. Thank you Quentin for capturing the spirit of last year’s event so well. I look forward to your movie of this year’s extravaganza.

There is a section on our web page devoted to pictures of Aero 8’s. Cars can be found in various colours. Someone contemplating a new car may find this page useful. If anyone has any pictures they would like to add to the collection please contact Dave Vodden.

Both of these can be found in the Gallery.

Please don’t forget we are planning pictures of owners with their Morgans to be included on our web page. Some history would be interesting to go with the photos. Please contact Dave via the Mail us link on the web page for further information.

See you all soon.
