3 mile medium walk / woodland and cross-field paths (boggy in wet weather) This month's walk takes in some woodland and cross-field paths overlooking Thames-side meadowlands. Please meet at the National Trust car park, Runnymede (OS Explorer 160 Windsor, Weybridge and Bracknell, SU 996731) at 10:30 am. We shall then go on a three mile walk following an easy route. We will have a look at the American Bar Association Memorial dedicated to the Magna Carta's principles of freedom, established in these fields in 1215. I hope to see you there in 2010. TVC 40th Anniversary Dinner (Bird in Hand) Celebration dinner (D/Jacket / smart casual) / entertainer / early booking recommended A three course meal has been booked with a free welcome punch drink offered on arrival, it is anticipated we will be inviting a couple of speakers well known to the Morgan fraternity, together with a live performer "The King" - Elvis Presley who will entertain us during the evening.
