A walk from Pirbright, Surrey. The Moorhen pub We shall meet at the car park for the Moorhen at 10:30 am. The walk is four miles in length, passes through lovely woodland and parts of Stamford Common. It is an easy level circuit with wide tracks being suitable for large groups. The food and drink at our walking pubs has been very enjoyable to date, so if you just want to join us for a noggin we should be back by about 13:00. |

Hambledon Sport Car Show TV and OX-MOG intend having a bring and share picnic at Hambledon which is organized by The Jaguar Enthusiast Club, which is an excellent day out. The event takes place in the field behind The Stag and Huntsman Pub. Hambledon is on A4155 between Henley and Marlow os ref 784 866 post code RG9 6RP. Arrive anytime after 11am. A walk from The Crooked BilletWokingham, Berkshire We shall meet at the car park for the Crooked Billet at 10:30 am. Parking is possible either side of the pub or possibly nearby. The walk is three and one quarter miles in length, cutting across gently undulating fields and woodland. It is an easy level circuit returning along some quiet paths and country lanes. The Crooked Billet is an unspoilt traditional country pub; it has a beer garden and a play area. Dogs are permitted in the pub. The food and drink at our walking pubs has been very enjoyable to date, so if you just want to join us for a noggin we should be back by about 13:00 for lunch. |
