Description
First Sunday of each Month. A pleasant location for a pint while talking Morgan.
You will find The Frog & Wicket opposite the oldest functioning cricket pitch in England, situated on the Hampshire / Berkshire / Surrey borders, and on the historical Three Castles Path, a route between Winchester and Windsor Castles, via Odiham travelled by King John in the 13th Century to sign The Magna Carta.
Originally The Lamb, and most recently The Cross, this pub is probably most fondly remembered in recent years as Le Toad & Stumps. The pub was unique, not only for its quirky name, but also for its spirit of fun, games, continental food and live music as well as great beers - a traditional pub with a difference, where a good time and a warm reception could always be guaranteed.
