Around Britain's Coast Roads for Help for Heroes

Postscript to Around Britain's Coast Roads for Help for Heroes I completed the Around Britain's Coast Roads Drive on May 1st having covered an actual distance of 5017 Miles over the 22 days. I drove for an average of 9 hours a day. I had good Hood Down weather for most of the trip, save the few days of rain, hail, sleet and Devon Floods, as my personal Sunshine Bubble followed me along the coast.   I now realise what a beautiful country this is that we live in, to the extent that being alone I became quite emotional from

Following the MSCC MOG 2010, held in Buxton, some of us (Affiliates of the Thames Valley Centre) had such a good weekend exploring Buxton and the surrounding countryside, by means of the scenic run maps, that we all decided to return in 2011 to continue to enjoy the region. Carol and Howard Rose were brought up in that area and offered to organise a trip for the second May Bank Holiday weekend.
