Following our successful "10 Hills Tour" last August, we are proposing another scenic run for the Charity Drive-It Day on 26th April.
Rather than a motor sport theme, this time it will acknowledge places and buildings of interest and will include the most picturesque of the Chiltern Valleys, a much-filmed village, a historic river crossing, and a challenging hairpin bend. The route is about 26 miles. A navigator is recommended. The run will be followed by lunch at the Harte & Magpies, Coleshill.
Prior notification of entry is required by Monday 20th April. Please advise Richard, email address:
The Entry fee of £10 to cover costs of printing & payable on day.
In addition, as the Run is in aid of NSPCC’s child-line service, you are encouraged to purchase a rally plaque from www.fbhvc.co.uk/drive-it-day at a cost of £12.50 including delivery. Two sizes are available. Please display on your Morgan.
We will assemble at 10.00 am at The Runway Bistro Café Wycombe Air Park (a.k.a. Booker Airfield), for refreshments, a natter and driver briefing.
Fingers crossed for good weather and no road closures.
Notes:
1. This is an untimed non-competitive event. Entrants are responsible for their own insurance.
2. You are encouraged to stay for the pub lunch but it is not compulsory. Just drinks are available.
3 There will be a limit on the number of entries
