From MSCC’s library we took an old route from 2012 (developed by OxMog) described in the traditional turn-by-turn format with handwritten tulip diagrams. We asked AI (plus some brief human intervention) to convert this into modern mapping data - without visiting the location.
We thought it would be fun to drive the route — which is a particularly good one — with one group using the tulip maps and one using the untested navigation data (in MyRoute-App).
The route takes us up and down the Chiltern Hills and enjoy some of the hills used for sprints in the 1920's. Approximate driving time 2 hours.
