Following on from the success of last year's visit to the world famous Haynes Motor Museum we are returning in May.
Dave has arranged a special 'invite only' tour of the restoration centre at the Museum. Those who visited last year will recall what an eye-opener it was to the work undertaking in restoring their cars.
The Haynes International Motor Museum is the UK's largest collection of the greatest cars from around the world with over 400 amazing cars and bikes from the dawn of motoring in the late 1800s through nostalgic classics of the 1950s and 1960s, glorious Bentleys and Rolls Royces to world renowned super cars like the Jaguar XJ220, and some extra special US automobiles.
Located just off the A303 at Sparkford in Somerset the Museum currently offers 19 individual exhibitions and it is very much a “Museum in Motion” with tours, talks and activities for families, children and enthusiasts alike. Packed with precious metal, the Haynes International Motor Museum is truly a world class motor museum.

Description
It was John Haynes’ love of motoring and business which formed the essence of the hugely successful Haynes Publishing Group.
A collector of cars and most things related to them, John’s ambition to create his own Museum was perhaps inevitable. With limited storage of his own, and beginning to lose track of where they all were, he soon began to seek out a suitable building to house his cars.
The new home for John’s ever-increasing collection was, of all places, the remains of a Second World War American munitions dump in Sparkford, Somerset. The site was ideal; not only would the collection be available to the public in one place but, by gaining the status of a UK independent charitable trust, its future would be also protected.
