ThamesMogs expedition to Mog2001 in Cheltenham was as usual unplanned. Some members managed to get co-ordinated at the camp site, the rest were spread across Gloucestershire and adjoining counties.
One thing we did manage to organise was a photograph of those cars present on the campsite on Saturday morning in front of the Centre Banner. That doesn't mean all the cars belonged to campers, but

An excellent dinner was organised on a train. Our esteemed Regalia Officer saw this as a good opportunity to acquire some more customers. At the last minute finding a new line in modestly packaged Digital Cameras. I gather that this line was short lived, but those that managed to buy one were very pleased with the deal on offer. So far Geoff has not submitted any Mog2001 pictures by way of a demonstration of the capabilities of this device so presumably they are all sold out!! |

| On Saturday many tried their hand at Prescott. This historic speed hillclimb venue is the home of the Buggatti Drivers Club and we were exeedingly priviledged to be able to use it. Runs were freeform and were not timed. Even so some pretty fast runs were done and a few ended up in the gravel. (It's OK Mary no pictures!!) Only one had any real damage and everyone had a good day. There were many grins even if some of these look a little apprehensive. |

Sunday was the main event. There was also a little fight between ThamesMog and Oggiemog with side bets being taken on the ultimate winner (We still don't know who that was). This is a somewhat more confrontational position than these two had been seen in before. Rumour has it that there may be more fights in future... |

In the Sporting arena ThamesMog had 3 entries in the Gymkhana. One of these (me) had omitted to organise a passenger so Hartley Jenkinson stepped in at very short notice. The others were Mary and James McLaren, each acting as a passenger for the other. The following pictures are of Hartley and I in action, unfortunately I do not have pictures of Mary or James. |

At the end of the day the ThamesMog Gymkhana entries were very successful with Mary achieving Second in the Plus 4 class while Hartley and I were the overall winners. This picture is of the 2 prizewinners with their respective trophies.
Elswhere on the site there were trade tents (sit in an Aero 8 sir?) and a lovely historic display of cars from the last 50 years
