In March of this year Thames Mog visited West Green House near Hartley Wintney. Gathered in the car park we were met by the house tenant Mrs Abbott, who enthused about here liking for Morgan's and invited ThamesMog to attend the inaugural classic car show in September. Sunday the 25th of September arrived. The day was sunny with some cloud. Start time was 0830 for arriving. Around 8 or 9 Morgan's from the club turned out and joined the ranks of classic cars on display. The variety of vehicles was broad, from a Rolls Royce towing a colour matched caravan, a 1940s police car, VW caravanettes and Masseratis'.
Refreshments were available in the form of bacon or banger rolls and tea or coffee. The day was spent wandering around talking to the cars owners which led to some interesting conversations. All the vehicles were judged, with an Aston Martin being the people's choice and a Rolls Royce the judges choice as best in show. I think it was a successful event that the ThamesMog attendees enjoyed. After the judging we said our goodbyes and departed.
