It was with some surprise that I read today that I have been awarded the 'Richard Thorne Charity Trophy' by the TV Center for 2012.
I thought that I had only won a Mug from winning the Royal Caribbean Teddy's in a Morgan competition featured in one of Roger Bluff's newsletters.
It is very kind of the committee to consider me for this award, which I assume is for my Solo Around Britain Trip where I was fund raising for Help for Heroes, (where the final total donated was £6881.02, plus a potential £929.41 available to Help for Heroes from Gift Aid).

So a Sincere Big Thank You to the Committee for making the award and a Big Thank You to those of you who gave your support to the project by making a donation and by coming along to our Waddesdon Manor celebration on 24th June.
Hopefully I will be in a position to begin a new fund raising venture again this year.
