ThamesMOG Peak District Tour 26

Join with ThamesMOG for five days in the Peak District between Monday 31st August and Friday 4th September.

We will be staying four nights in the Palace Hotel and Spa, Buxton. since 1868, the Palace Hotel has been a prominent building in Buxton, set in five acres of stunning landscaped gardens.

Each day we have arranged optional scenic tours of the Peak District area, visiting places such as the 900 years old Haddon Hall one of England’s best‑preserved medieval manor houses, the stepping stones and limestone gorge of Dovedale, and Flash the highest village in Britain with dramatic moorland panoramas and quiet lanes for relaxed driving.

Day 1 — Arrival at the Palace Hotel & Spa Buxton, followed by optionial lunch in the Pavilion Gardens

Day 2 — East Loop Scenic Drive.Gentle scenic warm‑up day with viewpoints, coffee stop, lunch, and 48 miles of relaxed driving.

Day 3 — South Loop Countryside Drive. Rolling lanes, limestone dales, village stops, short walks and a riverside pub lunch. 55 miles.

Day 4 — Northern Peaks Loop. Dramatic limestone scenery, short hill walks, classic passes and a village pub lunch. 39 miles.

Day 5 — Western Moorlands Loop. Moorland reservoirs, village markets, short lakeside walks and a pub or cafélunch. 60 miles. Then you are free to return home.
