Bookings for our weekend in the New Forest - with a discounted visit to Beaulieu - are coming in thick and fast. I would like to thank New Forest for their support in this joint venture. Please contact Ann or Brian Miller as soon as you can, if you would like to go on this trip, our thanks our also due to Ann, Brian and Heidi for getting this exciting weekend together.

Next month we have our visit to the Morgan Factory, please contact me if you would like to go as places are filling up! Also coming up is the tremendous Fawley Steam Day. Please contact Terry Tedman as soon as you can if you would like to go. Thank you Terry for organising this very special day out for the Centre.

Recently, I have been canvassing views on our change of venue from the Phoenix to the Poacher, at South Warnborough, near Odiham on the road to Alton, on the third Thursday evening noggin. The general opinion is that we should make our change to the Poacher permanent. So from now on we shall be going to the Poacher on the third Thursday evening noggin. I am looking forward to the summer evening drives along the road from Odiham, a great Morgan drive! See you there!

This month our walk in the Chilterns takes us to Aldbury.

A Walk from Aldbury

Sunday 13th March 2005

We shall meet at the car park for the Greyhound public house at 10.30 am. The pub is near Aldbury church and the village pond, two and half miles from Tring. The walk is four miles long, taking in some impressive hillsides while still being an easy ramble. All our pubs to date on our walks have been very good, with great food and drink. If you just want to join us for a noggin we should be back about 13:00 for lunch. I hope to see you there.

Take care & see you all soon - Roger.
