We welcomed two new members this month: Roger Davies (Roger is on the look out for a 10 year old +8) and Peter Alexander and his rather nice +4 2 seater. Good to see you both! I also owe a belated welcome to David Gurr and family, new members from a couple of months back.
In this months Thames Valley Centre Newsletter (TVCN) Chris Rowe recalls adventures from our Centre’s past, including exploits with our illustrious Vice President Arthur Neal. On the future events front Bert Oslar is organising a trip to the ‘British Sportscar Day’ at Brooklands Museum. Albert Koo has negotiated a special agreement from the organisers for the Retro Run to the Coy’s Festival to allow Morgans of all ages to enter. Normally only vehicles manufactured up to 31st December 1978 are allowed. Please contact Albert for further details. The Prescott Hill Climb classic meeting is being held this month. Mike Lawton
We were very sorry to learn of the death in March of Mike Lawton.
Mike had been a member of the Centre for several years, originally owning a 1993 +4 from new. In recent years Mike had been rebuilding an F-Type 3-wheeler that was nearing completion.
Our sincere condolences to his wife Val, and sons Mark and David.
