I am pleased to announce, that due to having sold all of the Centre’s car badges, the Thames Valley Management Committee have agreed to order another batch of the Thames Valley Centre car badges. This time it will be the round badge design. If you can remember it, this is a depiction of our stretch of the River Thames placed above a classic Morgan sports car that faces you at a jaunty angle. I hope you can imagine this if you have never seen one. Excitingly, the colour of the Morgan on the car badge can be chosen from one of the five colours we are ordering: red, white and blue, appropriately, plus green and black. So if you order a car badge you can pick the colour to match that of your Morgan. We are taking orders now, and we hope to have them available by Christmas. We expect the price to be roughly £30, plus p&p. if you can’t collect at one of our Noggins. If you would like one please contact me, (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) but be quick as we feel these badges will be very popular. Orders will be taken on a first come first served basis. I hope you will be able to get one. It has been put to me that we should start selling badge bar extensions – an interesting thought.

On Sunday 1st November Sexmog will be meeting at the Jolly Tanner in Staplefield to watch the Veterans go by on their way to Brighton from London. If you plan to watch here, it is best to get there early. The Jolly Tanner does a great breakfast. Alternatively, you can watch the start in London – please make contact me if you are interested in these options.

Due to our wet and windy summer, in spite the forecast of a long hot barbeque summer, we had to reschedule a couple of our National Trust walks. The trip to Maidenhead and Cookham Commons was one of these. However, we have rescheduled the walk for this month, on November 29th – I hope the weather will be calmer around this time of year. I look forward to seeing you there nice and dry.

Finally, I am pleased to be able to announce that we have been invited as a Centre to Richard Thorne’s Christmas Party on Thursday December 3rd. This is the date of our normal noggin at the Bird In Hand. Therefore, we have decided to hold our noggin at Richard’s party. I look forward to seeing you there. I would like to thank Helen and Richard for their kind invitation. There are always plenty of fun things to do and several interesting Morgan sports cars to crave over.
