At this year’s AGM in May, Roger Bluff handed the Centre Secretary’s baton over to Richard Clayton and Charles Southwood. In recognition of his 27 years’ service to the Centre and the MSCC, Roger has been made an honorary member of the MSCC. ThamesMOG would like to thank Roger for the warm welcome which he has extended to all new members.
The following trophies for 2025 were awarded at the AGM: The Spirit of Competition Salver to Howard Clark; The Chris Nickless Mileage Trophy to Andy Doughty; The Frank Lomax Charity Trophy to Lynne Doughty; The Spirit of Morgan Trophy to Chris Beck; and the No 1 Badge Trophy for most Noggins attended to Richard and Sally Clayton.
In addition to the AGM, this month ThamesMOG has visited, RAF Hendon for two guided tours, enjoyed a lovely brunch near Winchester, and attended the always enjoyable Pangbourne Classic Car Show.
Sunday, 7th June - Classics on the Crick. Join us for this ever popular event. All profits from the show go to the Thames Valley Air Ambulance.
Sunday 28th June - Yattendon Classic Vehicle Day. ThamesMOG will be allocated an area so if members wish to be grouped together please let Robert Thornton know so that an appropriate space can be planned.
Saturday 11th July – We join SogMOG for a Fly-in at West Tisted. It is a fly-in for mostly vintage aircraft and pilots of a certain age. Over 100 classic and vintage aircraft have been invited.
