During our walk in the Chilterns in December at West Wycombe we recruited two new members to the Centre. Terry Tedman has got a new Morgan on order and Robert Watson already owning a Morgan is the landlord of the Rose and Crown Inn at Saunderton near Princes Risborough. Terry had recognised us from our pictures from the Centre web page while we were having a recuperative drink in the Swan Inn at West Wycombe. I would like to welcome you both to the Centre.
At the Sunday lunchtime noggin in December we welcomed Alan Baker to the Centre. Alan lives in Wycombe and has a rather interesting problem. Alan has a very steep drive and he is worried whether in a years time when his new Morgan is delivered will his pride and joy make it up the drive unscathed? If necessary Alan will move home, with a new house, a new Morgan and a new Millennium, you will be busy next year Alan!
In the latest edition of the Thames Valley Centre Newsletter (TVCN) Chris Rowe reviews some European holidays he has enjoyed over the years in his Plus 4 M16 Morgan, while I have reviewed the past year for the Thames Valley Centre. Subscription details are available from myself (Centre Secretary).
In the next couple of months Alec Sanders and John Morgan will be collecting their new 4.6 Morgan Plus eights. I hope all goes well, both of you will need a car badge, so don’t forget to specify a badge bar!
The new Thames Valley Car badge is now in production. Please send orders to Jim Bellew with cheques made out to Morgan Sports Car Club TV Centre. Also, please let Jim know the colour of the car you want for your badge.
