On the first Thursday we welcomed Jerry and Eileen Tanner to the Centre. Jerry is currently waiting patiently for his new Morgan - I hope the wait will not be too long! At the HopMog Petanque competition we also recruited Anna and Simon Marshall to the Centre just in time for them to win the Skittles evening out right! So a warm welcome to Anna and Simon to the Centre and thanks for winning for Thames Valley! Congratulations are also in order for Anna and Simon since they are our fiftieth subscribers to Thames Valley Centre News (TVNC). Only another three thousand eight hundred and seventy to go and all members of the MSCC will be subscribers! At our Sunday noggin we also welcomed Richard and Debbie Thwaites to the Centre on their recent return from Germany. Richard and Debbie also have a big lively Labrador so hopefully he can meet my equally energetic Labrador Bobby soon.
In the latest edition of the Thames Valley Centre Newsletter (TVCN) Chris Rowe has written an article on how Morgans have appeared in Motor sport photography. Also I have reviewed my first ever competition event the tortuous Three Sisters. Subscription details are available from myself (Centre Secretary).
We have finally decided on a design for the next production run of our Centre car badge. The design will now be based on the current Centre logo as depicted on our sweat and polo shirts. Please contact either Jim Bellew or myself for details. We would like to start collecting deposits so that a production run can be started.
This month the best speed event in the World is being held - The Brighton Speed Trials. I shall be competing so anyone that can make it down to support me will be most welcome, especially as the event is being held on my birthday!
