On the first Thursday we had in attendance, as far as my Centre records show, a record twenty Morgans. That evening we also welcomed some new members to the Centre. Strictly speaking Dave Harvey, Pat and Colin Harris are old members from the past. John Morgan dropped in as he was passing because of his interest in Morgans - he has been on the waiting list for a long time. David Knight and Chris Chaffey also joined us both owning rather nice 4/4s. The last new member was Arthur Neal. Arthur owns a Series I that he is still trying to get to grips with, etc. Arthur showed a great deal of promise, I think he should go a long way in the Morgan World! At our Sunday noggin we also welcomed Estelle and Ian Sollen to the Centre.
In the latest edition of the Thames Valley Centre Newsletter (TVCN) Chris Rowe interviews a very personable hill climbing and sprinting competitor. Also the first part of the Thames Valley experiences of HalMog is told. Subscription details are available from myself (Centre Secretary).
This month a spectacular sprint meeting as a round of the heart of England Challenge is being held at Castle Combe circuit. A large class of Morgan will be competing. Also this month we will be doing a four-mile walk in the Chilterns. Please meet at Aldbury car park at 10:30 am. - See you there.
