We continue to ring the changes with our noggin venues this month, with a move away from the Frog and Wicket. From the first Sunday this month we shall be going to the Chequers Inn, Well, near Odiham, Hook, Hampshire, RG29 1TL,  from 12 noon. This is more of a traditional pub in a small village. We are able to book lunch and a table in a conservatory overlooking the car park which will hopefully be full of Morgan Sports Cars. If you would like to book lunch please contact Ted Kannemeyer on 01252 850596 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .I hope to see you there.

And on the day before, as stated below, please remember that this month we shall be visiting the Walled Garden Centre, this day out is being organised by Mike Aldrich. Please arrive from 11:00 am for coffee, etc. Our visit is on Saturday 4th August. Those wanting to have a lunch, this is available in the restaurant between the hours of 12.00-14:00. Mike has also arranged a cream tea for those attending, starting at approximately 16:00. The owners will reserve a special area for us in the car park with space for our club banners and flags. They will be thrilled to see as many Morgan Sports cars as possible. Mike has suggested that a visit to the adjacent Elizabethan Manor of Dorney Court is possible. An admission charge will be made to help with the upkeep of the house and grounds. If you are interested in attending please contact Mike Aldrich on telephone: 01628 676619 and/or Email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. - so that we can give the owners of the garden centre an idea of numbers for catering purposes. I hope you will be able to join us for I feel sure this will be another enjoyable event for us. Please note numbers are limited for the potential visit to Dorney Court; the Manor is not regularly open to the public and we are honoured to be invited by the Palmer family to visit their home. Please contact Mike Aldrich if you would like to attend this part of the day so that we can gauge numbers for a viable look round. I would like to thank Mike for facilitating this special visit. Please note the Olympic rowing events will be held concurrently down the road and there is likely to be a celebratory atmosphere, especially for everything made in Britain.
