I understand our RAF air shows: RAF Benson; and RAF Odiham were just tremendous. Certainly the photograph taken by David Williams of one of our banners alongside the runway was well captured. I would like to thank, on behalf of the Centre, David Cleveland and Nail O'Connell for organising these great events. Let’s hope we can go back next year. Many thanks.
At the time of writing, in early September, we had had the next in the series of Tim’s Tours and what a great turn out it was too. Full details in an article will hopefully appear in Miscellany soon. I would like to thank Tim Jones very much indeed. We shall all look forward to the next one.
Later on in September, ThamesMOG went along to the West Green House Classic Car show. I know that West Green House were looking forward to seeing us, and they even use a picture of our Morgans on their website to publicise this event. I trust this was a great day too.
I look forward to seeing you at our monthly walk, this month at The Vyne, and also at the Morgan Day at Brooklands on Sunday 1st October, and the second Richard Thorne Breakfast Morning on Saturday 7th October.
Please don’t forget our October Noggin at The Novello, on 5th October. The September Noggin at The Novello, was very pleasant. It was the evening of the Triple Dealer day and the returning adventurers joined us for something to eat, despite having had a day of tea and provided by the three Morgan dealers along the way. They must have been hungry. The food at the Novello was so good that we are planning to hold our annual dinner there. Please watch this space. And finally, why not join us for Sunday Lunch at the Harte & Magpies on Sunday 15th October. I hope to see you at one of these soon.
You can find details of all our forthcoming events on our events page.
