Please don’t forget our ‘1st Thursday of the Month Noggins’ held at the ‘The Bell and Bottle’ - hope you can make it along. With this in mind, I am pleased to announce that we will be holding our AGM on May 2nd at The Bell and Bottle during our normal First Thursday Noggin evening. Calling notices will be going out soon. This year we are collecting together photographs of our past events to put together a show. If you have any photos you would like us to include please contact Steve Bridge by email
If you fancy joining fellow Morganeers for Sunday Lunch, why not visit the Harte & Magpies at Coleshill. These friendly Noggins occur regularly on the Third Sunday of every month from 12:00 onwards. Our next Lunch Time Noggin is Sunday 21st April.
Our next National Garden Scheme monthly visit will be on Sunday 28th April, when we will visit the Odney Club at Cookham. This 120 acre site is beside the Thames with lovely riverside walks. A favourite with Stanley Spencer, who featured the magnolia in his work. Other sights worth seeing include are the lovely wisteria, specimen trees, side gardens, spring bedding and ornamental lake. The John Lewis Partnership Heritage Centre will be open, showcasing the textile archive and items illustrating the history of John Lewis and Waitrose.
Following on from the success of last year's visit to the world famous Haynes Motor Museum, ThamesMOG are returning in May.
