On behalf of the Centre I would like to thank the outgoing Committee at our recent AGM for all their hard work and achievements, and great teamwork, over the last twelve months.
Moreover, I am pleased to announce that at our AGM, the meeting unanimously approved the election of the following committee members for 2019/2020:

I would like to thank everyone for being prepared to continue to stand for the next twelve which will be part of a great year for the Centre.
We were also pleased to award the Badge No 1 Trophy (for most noggins attended in a Morgan) to Peter Page, and the Silver Salver Trophy (for Competition) to Helen Thorne. It was amusing when Helen was asked if she would be competing in 2019, and she replied that she would like to but her Dad had sold the race car.
During the meeting we discussed that in 2020, which is not that far away, we will be celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of the Centre. We are looking to plan a year-long celebration with some special events culminating in a special dinner in November (the month of our foundation back in 1970). Please watch this space.
For the next AGM, as proposed by a Centre member, we plan to award the full complement of our awards and trophies. It added something special to the proceedings. These are important to us as they reflect the essence of the camaraderie, companionship and good company. We hope it will continue for another fifty years.
Our next monthly National Garden Scheme (NGS) visit will be a midweek event. NGS visit this time will be the Old Rectory on Wednesday 26th June from 14:00 to 16:00. Please note we plan to arrive at 14:00.
ThamesMOG has been invited to exhibit at this year’s Pangbourne Classic Car Show for the 4th year running, on Saturday 1st June. The 2018 event was a great success with 250 amazing vehicles on display in the glorious Berkshire sunshine, and raised an amazing £4,000 for Charity. ThamesMOG put on a good show with 17 Traditional Morgans, six M3Ws, and an Aero8 putting on a fine show. On Saturday 10th August, ThamesMOG are joining with the Farnham Lions for a very special fund raising day at Robert and Tanya Lewis’ premier private collection of classic and supercars. Not only is the collection stunning, but you will be able to enjoy a huge variety of cars from around the country who all gather to support this fantastic day in aid of Help for Heroes. Hyper, Super, Veteran, Classic and Sports - all will be present and a display of specialist army vehicles, as well as other attractions being finalised. Entry to the event is by ticket only. Tickets are per car with as many passengers as it is allowed to carry on the Queens highway. Those of you who have visited this private collection before well know what a splendid day it will be. Pricing - Tickets purchased between 1st April and 30th June - £25 per car. Tickets purchased after 30th June and on the gate - £30 per car.
