I would like to welcome you all to the New Year; I hope you will have a prosperous 2020 with good cheer and above all, good health.
At the time of writing the country was facing the possibility of great changes one way or another. Whatever happens, there will be opportunities in 2020 to enjoy your Morgan while also celebrating Thames Valley Centre’s 50th birthday.
If you have cabin fever over the festive season and want to blow away those cobwebs from your New Year’s celebrations, why not get down to The Phoenix Classic Car meeting on January 1st for the annual impromptu gathering of cars and car folk: whether there will be an electric double decker, I’m not sure.
Our 50th anniversary year is here. To kick off we have our annual dinner in January. Following the resounding success of our New Year’s Dinner last year, the ThamesMOG Committee are delighted to invite you to the first of the club’s major events in our 50th Anniversary year. As in previous years we have a guest speaker, and we are delighted to have David Main. With a motoring theme this year, David will tell us about taking part in this year's Peking – Paris rally, in his 90 year old Buick Coupe.
The cost for the evening is £32.00 per person for a three course dinner and guest speaker. For the menu and to make your booking, please contact David Williams by emailing
