2026 started cold and snowy, and this certainly put the dampers on our usual New Year’s events at The Phoenix Inn, Hartley Wintney, and the Vintage Stony Car and Motorcycle Gathering. I don’t know of anyone who ventured to these events. However some hardy members of ThamesMOG did manage to venture to New Year's Day Classic Gathering at Brooklands Museum. Well done.
We have lots of exciting ideas for events and visits in the next 12 months. If you would like to suggest any events to us, don’t feel shy, e-mail me at
Speaking of ThamesMOG events, it was good to see the article entitled ‘A Special Guest at ThamesMOG’s Sunday Lunch’ in December/January’s Miscellany. If you fancy writing a report on any of our events, don’t hesitate, just sends it to Charles, the MSCC Miscellany editor.
A full list of all our events can be found on our events page

We've got a fantastic selection for you, from stylish hats and cosy coats to practical bags and sharp shirts, with the iconic Thames Valley Morgan Centre's logo embroidered on many items. Just go to the website the clothing page, click on the link to our clothing supplier and then scroll down to choose any items that have "Inc Center Ver- MSCC" in the item description, and select Thames Valley from the 'Logo Version' drop down menu.
Have you managed to get out in your Morgan recently? I did manage to take mine to the shops when there was a window in the weather, it was so good to be out with the fresh air in my hair (well I did have my Trappers hat on).
Remember ‘A Morgan is for life, not just for Sundays’.
