I would like to thank everyone that attended our AGM on May 3rd at The Novello during our normal First Thursday Noggin evening for that month. Steve Bridge chaired the meeting for what turned out to be a pleasant night. The circulating slide show of past events brought back some happy memories, not least those of us sitting out in the garden of The Novello last summer. They do have some comfortable seats, those weather proof ones that are more like sofas. There is also a fine view across the countryside that nicely frames all the Morgan Sports cars. Steve led a discussion on future event ideas, and we could all see what a busy summer we have ahead. It should be fun.

I would like to thank everyone that is prepared to serve on the Committee. If any member would like to join us, please get in touch. While we look to run the club efficiently as we can, our main focus is on future events for the Centre to enjoy, and of course we always welcome new ideas on this front.
At the end of the AGM preceding we had the pleasure awarding some of our Club trophies as follows:
James Bellew was awarded the SGT trophy for Morgan Camaraderie, in recognition of his extensive work in the past few years, reconciling and compiling the ThamesMOG membership list. I expect you will all have received an email from James in the past. He is now handing the Membership Secretary role over to Dave Cleveland. I would like to personally thank James for all his hard work over the years for the Centre, first as Regalia Officer and subsequently as Membership secretary. James sorted out our membership process and records that proved to be a complex job at the time. Thankfully, James is staying with the Centre – he will still be around - which is good news.
Graham Larby was awarded the Competition Trophy, a silver platter, for his enthusiasm and effort in arranging ThamesMOG trips to Brands Hatch, Brooklands, and other Morgan related racing events. Details on Graham's latest trip were in last month’s Centre report.
Finally, The Richard Thorne Trophy, the Charity trophy, was awarded to Frank Lomax. Frank is tireless in his efforts to raise money for Combat Stress, and arranging the All Morgan Day on Sunday 1st July. There are already over 500 Morgans booked for this event with still over 2 months to go! Please see link below:

Frank could not be with us for the AGM, as he now lives out of our area, although he still remains a ThamesMOG member. Well done Frank!

- Visit to Jane Austen's House Museum – Sunday 24th June
- Visit to Fawley Train Museum – Sunday 5th August.
- Visit to Gilbert White and the Oates collection – Sunday 19th August.

Thames Valley Centre car badges available on eBay - beware
Don’t forget please, as reported previously, a Morgan owner from Australia has brought to our attention that Thames Valley Car badges are for sale on eBay. They appear to be our badges but we would like to point out that these sales are nothing to do with us or our previous suppliers. They are very highly priced, and please remember we can supply Thames Valley car badges new at the nominal club price. If you see any regalia out there and are interested please check with us first.
