At the time of writing we are looking forward to the annual Classic Car Show at West Green House. This has had to be postponed twice in September due to the torrid wet weather. Let’s hope in October it will be 3rd time lucky.

We start November by joining other MSSC Centres at the Jolly Tanner in Staplefield to watch the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run. Park your Morgans around Staplefield village green where the Jolly Tanner and The Victory Inn pubs do a great breakfast. If you plan to watch it there it is best to arrive before 11 am. The quickest and simplest way from Reading is via the M25/M23. You can take your time driving home by returning through the delightful Surrey countryside.

November continues with our monthly National Trust walk, this time we are visiting Greys Court, near Henley. This visit has been moved to November due to the postponement of the West Green House show. Visit the house, or walk around the gardens and the woods. Let’s hope that autumn hues of reds, oranges and yellows can still be seen throughout the gardens and the estate. Join us at 11am for our visit, followed by coffee and cake afterwards.

Our anniversary year is fast approaching. To kick off we have our annual dinner in January. David Williams has organised a rather special guest speaker, Dave Main, who will talk about his Peking – Paris rally run in a 30's US doctor's car.
