During these difficult times, I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Tony Howard’s wife Avril. Tony works on many Centre member’s cars, and over the years becomes good friends with his clients. He is a great Morgan engineer and Morgan racer. We are thinking about you Tony. On behalf of the Centre, I would like to send our sincere condolences to Tony’s family and friends, at this sad time. To live in the hearts of those we love is never to die.
As always, I hope you are all safe and well. The lockdown rules are changing continually, and at the time of writing they seem to becoming more restrictive again. The ThamesMOG Management Committee will review our noggins and events day to day. We are pleased to announce that the Bell and Bottle Noggin on the first Thursday of the month will be returning in October. Local Covid procedures will be followed inside the pub. On November 5th we would like to invite you to a special First-Thursday-of-the-Month Noggin. This November marks 50 years since the first Thames Valley Noggin in November 1970 and to celebrate we invite everyone to a Curry Evening at the Bell and Bottle.
Also in November we will be joining SexMOG to watch the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run at the Jolly Tanner in Staplefield on Sunday 1st.
