I would like to welcome you all to the New Year; I hope you will have a prosperous 2021 with good cheer and, above all, good health, and wish for a better year for us all. We have all been through difficult times. Thankfully our ThamesMOG newsletters has been full of good cheer throughout the year.
If you have cabin fever over the festive season and want to blow away those cobwebs from your New Year’s celebrations, why not get down to The Phoenix Classic Car meeting on January 1st for the annual impromptu gathering of cars and car folk: if it is being held that is. News on this front can be found in our newsletters and website. Watch this space.
Our last ‘Log-In Noggin’ of the year was an enjoyable evening, and I would like to again thank everyone who joined in. Many thanks to David Williams for facilitating the Zoom. Dave Cleveland arrived suitably dressed, complete with lumberjack hat that he usually wears in his Morgan. We thought his home central heating boiler had broken down, but of course for a December ‘Log-In Noggin’ it gave us a nice chuckle. With the weather outside wet and windy – you know, these virtual noggins could become popular. We plan to continue with this approach of using Zoom for our Noggins in the next few months. Our next Log-In Noggin is on Thursday 7th January. Let’s hope in the near future we can meet in person.
The lockdown rules are changing continually, and at the time of writing they seem to becoming more restrictive again. The ThamesMOG Management Committee will review our noggins and events day to day.
