I would like to welcome you all to the New Year; I hope you will have a prosperous 2022 with good cheer and, above all, good health, and wish for a better year for us all. We have all been through difficult times. Thankfully our ThamesMOG newsletters has been full of good cheer throughout the year.
If you have cabin fever over the festive season and want to blow away those cobwebs from your New Year’s celebrations, why not get down to The Phoenix Classic Car meeting on January 1st for the annual impromptu gathering of cars and car folk: if it is being held that is. Our noggins have continued successfully. In particular Christopher Nickless and his son have started a YouTube channel capturing expertly their enjoyable noggin at the Harte and Magpie. Please subscribe to our channel. It is nice to see everyone in action, so to speak.
Please remember, we have a visit to Wales in September 2022 with Christopher Nickless to look forward, as we relive the trip he arranged in 2020 as one of ThamesMOG’s 50th anniversary events. It was such an enjoyable event in bright sunshine, great company, in a beautiful setting. We look forward to our return.
Also in 2022 there is the Pangbourne Classic Car Show on Saturday 4th June. The event started in 2016 and has grown in popularity and now has around 250 vintage, classic and modern classic vehicles displayed each year. ThamesMOG are proud to have attended every year. Details on how to register for this event are detailed below.
The lockdown rules are changing continually, and at the time of writing they seem to becoming more restrictive again. The ThamesMOG Management Committee will review our noggins and events day to day.
