Rather belatedly I would like to congratulate Robin and Yvette Henderson on their recent nuptials. In a way our latest trip to Ireland was a sort of honeymoon for Robin and Yvette. I was therefore pleased that our host in Cong, in their honour, gave them the "Sean Thornton" room for their stay in the Quiet Man guest house, every room is dedicated to a character from this famous movie. During our stay and our re-enactment, of course Robin and Yvette had the John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara roles while I appropriately had the Michaleen Oge Flynn; the matchmaker part

  The main event for August is of course MOG 007 at Goodwood. We are involved in a big way as we shall be running the gymkhana. I would like to wish everyone involved all the best for what I am sure will be a tremendous event. Mike Smith has produced an impressive plan view of how the various games will link together; I must say I am looking forward to the day much indeed. While you read this Centre report, a party of us will hopefully be touring Ireland in our trusted Morgans, ultimately visiting fellow enthusiasts in the Wicklow and South Dublin area. Our exciting plans for Ireland have now been finalised. The tour, for most of us, begins at Cong; continues to Killarney; then onto Waterford ending at Bray for a chance to have a look round the fascinating City of Dublin.  Robin Henderson is pulling together our plans for a return trip to Ireland for late June to early July this year. We hope to start making booking arrangements very soon. We hope to be based in Cong, County Mayo for some of the time with plenty of interesting places to visit in and around the area. Over Christmas we had the pleasure of awarding our three Centre trophies: the mileage challenge sponsored by F.H Douglass; the SGT trophy for a person or persons that have best represented the true spirit of owning a Morgan, voted for by Centre members; and the Richard Thorne Charity Trophy for the most monies raised during our annual charity event. These annual awards are very important to us, as they reflect very much the character of the Centre: keen to be out enjoying our Morgans; supportive of the camaraderie of owning a Morgan; and while we are having a special time,
