During the early autumn noggins at the Bird In Hand, Quentin and Judy Mitchell said goodbye to us all as they went off for their new life in Hopmog land. They are moving to be closer to their son who lives in Kent. These were sad occasions as Quentin and Judy have been members of the Centre for a long time. They have supported many of our events over the years and have been wonderful company being good friends to many people in the Centre. At the time of writing I had just completed the third Thames Tour as the wingman for Tim Jones which was quite an honour as you can imagine. Tim piloted us well round Windsor mixing it with what I believe was a recent Plus 4 Super-Sports. I got a photo and we did wave at each other. At the time of writing I was looking forward to our Fawley Hill Museum visit. Terry Tedman has been able to get us back to the Museum earlier than we had expected, which is great. I am pleased to report that we are returning, by popular demand, to the Fawley Hill Museum on Sunday 14th August 2016. Terry Tedman has been able to get us back to the Museum earlier than we had expected. This is a great day out. Last year I had my first ride on a steam driven carrousel. I have always loved the horses.
