As a Centre we have some close links with the U.S. in the area hit by recent tragic events. Many of our members go over there on a regular basis. As far as I am aware all our family, friends, colleagues and contacts in this region are safe and well. At our last noggin at the Bird In Hand we had a wet evening resulting in two Centre couples arriving in their Landrover Defenders. They were even parked next to each other in the slots normally occupied by morgans!  Now as we enter the season of endless depressions arriving from the West I thought it could fun if we held a special Landrover evening. I think it is safe to claim that we all had a really good time at MOG 2001. I made a visit in June to Hampden Arms after our last noggin at the Rose & Crown Inn at Saunderton with the company of a select few. The food looks very good and we will be provided with a private room. Dogs and children are welcome. A private parking area for our Morgans will be sectioned off round the back. It has been suggested for some time now that we should make a change from the Rose & Crown Inn at Saunderton. Robert and Jennifer Watson have now retired and no longer own the Inn; hence we have felt a change of scene may now be appropriate.
