On Thursday 6th May we held our 2020 AGM as part of our first Thursday Noggin. It was held virtually i.e. via Zoom. Afterwards we discussed events post-lockdown. It was an enjoyable evening. I would like to thank everyone that attended. I also thank those of you that gave your apologies. I really hope next time we will be able to meet up face to face, or mask to mask, as Steve Bridge drolly put it. It was great to see Philip Male at our Log-in Noggin in early March. Philip has been based in Southwest France since the early ‘90s. You were most welcome Philip at our Log-in Noggin. He has always been a member of ThamesMOG, but it was great to have him register on our website. With the glorious microclimate in parts of the Aquitaine area, mild winters, pleasantly warm summers, it would be nice to have a ThamesMOG outpost there. With our more global outlook these days, our fiftieth car badge has been selling all over the world. I would recommend that you get one fast from Dave Mansfield if you want one, because when they are gone they are gone. It is a fantastic badge from a great design team. As 2021 unfolds, our ThamesMog newsletters have still been full of good cheer. Judging by the sad news coming through almost daily, I fear that it will be sometime before we can be out and about, and meeting up at our various or noggins: although, we are keeping going with our monthly virtual Log-In Noggins.
